Screen is frequently minimized when "play again" is pressed

After a game is finished, if a user decides to play another round by pressing "play again", the window frequently and automatically becomes minimized once the button is pressed. This forces the user to manually make the window full screen again.

So what happens for me when I hit play again is that the window looks like it's resizing from nothing.
