follow pyvista terminology
- mesh.midpoints -> mesh.cells (coordinate of the midpoint of that cell) #507
- new mesh.vertices (coordinates of the mesh vertices/nodes/corner points)
documentation can point to pyvista
revisit point2index and index2point; those might have to be renamed
when defining a field allow users to decide whether to store on cells or nodes #512
