Deal with "Saint ______" community names / IDs

There are 4 Alaska communities that start with "Saint":

• Saint Mary's
• Saint George
• Saint Paul
• Saint Michael

These could also be spelled using a "St." prefix. How to deal with this? Should we choose one spelling over the other? Should we have multiple alternative names (in addition to the AK native language names) to facilitate searching many names and ending up with one place/ ID ?
