Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, the maximum deflection amplitude permitted is hard-coded to 40 degrees. Any motion beyond this amplitude is limited down to a deflection of 40 degrees, which sometimes causes playback to appear more abrupt than desired.
Describe the solution you'd like
Motion should gradually decrease as deflection reaches this limit, so that there is no loss of smoothness in the motion.
Timeline
Needed for playback eventually, but not critical at the time of this posting
