Someone posted this video link (Pokémon: Yellow Version | GBC (1998) Carnage Count) to #gaming, and the response was (link):

The game has 52 stats it keeps, and 64 slots for stats. We can easily add a stat GAME_STAT_CASUALTIES_CAUSED and GAME_STAT_PARTY_DEATHS.
