Robot Model

Turtlebot4 Standard

ROS distro

Humble

Networking Configuration

Discovery Server

OS

Ubuntu 22.04

Built from source or installed?

Installed

Package version

turtlebot4-setup 1.04

Expected behaviour

systemctl status discovery.service show server started and working

Actual behaviour

server crashes after few seconds

Error messages

dont remember, try systemctl status discovery.service

To Reproduce

  1. create new tf-card image with user, different from default (ubuntu)
  2. continue install robot per instructions
  3. in setup choose fastdds discovery server
  4. try to start robot
  5. check systemctl status discovery.service output

Other notes

remove User=ubuntu from /etc/turtlebot4/discovery.conf
Also, in my opinion, restartsec=1 is too fast, on error it will load cpu
