VAT and customs for EU pledges

Is VAT and customs and such included for orders from the EU?

You can't order anything on Kickstarter.You get a reward for your pledge.
So far everything has come through German customs.
(Except cannabis seeds, which are disappearing sometimes. There is a black hole at Cologne customs) ;-)

I received an answer through email. VAT and customs is not included. Just in case anybody is still wondering ;)

OK, the EU is big.
In Germany, customs fees are only from a value of 150.
In Germany, I can write as many names on my mailbox as I want. So you can receive several parcels on the same day from the same sender from the USA ;-)
Because of asshole Trump, (he deserves to go to Guantánamo) avoiding import sales tax has been more difficult since July 1, 2021.
Gift, reward, free merchandise items with a value of up to 45 euros are free of duty and import sales tax. Shipping costs are not a value of goods!
Be creative: (Gift)45 Eur + (shipping)30 Eur = 75 EUR ≈ 85 $ results 0 Eur for fucking government. In addition, such small Kickstarter or Crowd Supply rewards come in a simple envelope, which usually comes through customs.
You have more problems importing a game without a CE mark.
