Currently the way we compare actual to expected is rather plain and not at all that smart about what is different. It seems there might be any number of ways to actually compare images and it might be different than what we currently do.
Lets make the comparison system pluggable and have the current system of operation be the default.
Should consist of a few simple interfaces and some configuration DSL?
