I've found that if I try to scan a huge folder, LRCGET crashes during the scan. I'm not sure what the exact threshold is where it crashes, but it's somewhere between 10,000 and 30,000 files I think. I can get to the "Initializing Library - ###/### scanned" but after a while it slows down considerably then eventually crashes, giving an out of memory error message. I'm using LRCGET right now but when I'm done I'll set it running on a large folder and get a screenshot.
I don't think it's actually running out of physical memory to use, as I rarely see the program go above 30MB RAM usage in Task Manager.
Side note, to get around the crashing, when I need to tag a lot of files, I will put a bunch of folders into a parent folder so I can just select the parent folder to scan instead of individually selecting all the subfolders. It would be nice if in the folder selection dialog we could select more than one folder at a time instead.
Idk if LRCGET keeps logs anywhere, but if someone lets me know where they are I can upload those too.

didnt have a problem with 50k+ files. have you tried it after rebooting or signing out and in to ensure there are not many services and programs running?
Hi there,
I have the same issue where the program crashes with an out of memory error.
It usually stop scrolling in the progress window, then after sometime stuck... it crashes. While it is stuck, I still have access to the STOP button, but when/if you try to resume/restart the scan again, it doesn't add anything new until you restart the program manually.
I have 26K files in my library. I've been restarting the scan, but it then repeats trying to download the same lyrics again until I refresh my library manually. Now it is stuck in 60 files and whenever I restart the program, it scans the same 60 files again and doesn't move pass that point anymore.
Follows the screenshots, please advise if there's any logs I should upload to help debugging.
After click on (STOP) and Downlading All Lyrics again, the engine doesn't progress anymore.
On the console bug, I see the following:
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 23H2
Installed on 2023-08-29
OS build 22631.4460
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1047.0
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11850H @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.5 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Thanks again for all your hard work putting this together.
