Previously I loaded psx-pi-smbshare on a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B board. Everything was working good. I then bought a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ board. I set up everything the same. A fresh SanDisk Ultra 16GB card. Image burned with Balena Etcher Portable 1.7.9. On the Pi 3 there is no display when connected to TV and OPL can't connect to SMB. The card just isn't booting.
I tried the card I had been using on the Pi 3. Isn't booting.
I tried the newly burned card on the Pi 2. Works just like 1st card.
I reformatted one of the cards and burned Raspberry Pi OS to it using Raspberry Pi image. The Pi 3 boots with this.
It's just the psx-pi-smbshare image that the Pi 3 has an issue with.
I also tried the setup script instructions in Pi OS. I think the USB drive I've been using was mounted but OPL still could not connect to SMB. Maybe some configuration difference between the image and running the script?
