Hello.
i am running the latest version of PSX-pi-smbshare on a pi 2 B v1.1 and using it to load games to a model SCPH-79001 Playstation 2. i am using Free McBoot with the latest version of OPL2. my issue is that some of the games that i try to launch from SMB won't load anything past the Playstation 2 logo. the games i'm having issues with are the following:
Final Fantasy X-2
Armored Core Nexus (both Discs)
Armored Core Last Raven
Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance (won't progress past snowblind FMV)
the games listed above will load and run when loaded from the usb ports on the PS2.
i have tried the following troubleshooting steps in order to remedy this issue:
switched usb flash drives
shortened file names
launched games from ISO files
launched games from segmented files
used a usb-to-sata adaptor with a desktop hard drive
obtained new disc images from alternative sources
any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
