The Japanese language OSPO Local Meetup quarterly report #6 (2024/4-6)

OSPO Local Meetups in Japanese are held twice a month in Japan.
This quarter, one hybrid meetup was held In-person at KIOXIA Office 28th June with 21 participants including online. The number of participants ranged from 9 to 21, so the in-person event was the biggest one.

This meetup was held as co-located event of OpenChain Japan WG All Member Meeting. And we had exchanged our situation with difficulty to convince colleagues each other. Then we got consensus to pick up "What is contribution?" as a next theme for FAQ discussion.

We dived deeply with examples from Mobility, Semiconductor, and Online Service industries.
Each industry has each interested points like SBOM, Standards, and hosting OSS. And each perspective could be good influence to surrounded participants from other industries.

We discussed about "What is OSPO anyway?" again. Even if we establish OSPO, a lot of them are not involved in business strategy because it is difficult to understand upper side stage from lower side of OSPO maturity level. And also we discussed about our plan for All Member meeting on 27th June at KIOXIA, especially about questions for keynote about OSPO.
