Auto subs not working! #101
Comments
Hey, I have stopped support on AutoSubs V1 to focus on developing V2. The new version should be out in the next few days (sooner if on Mac). |
@tmoroney Hey, do you have any updates on V2 and when the new release will happen? I'm waiting patiently as the release date stated 1st of november on the main page. Best regards! |
Yeah I got super busy with my masters so I had to pause development for a few days. Almost done packaging up the Mac version should be up in a day or so. Windows version shortly after, hopefully this weekend. |
Hey! I'm not entirely sure if this will work but if you're on windows then try uninstalling DaVinci resolve, and clear all cache that DaVinci resolve has and try installing the latest version of DaVinci resolve then install auto-subs. I tried downgrading from 19 to 18 it didnt work like it used to. But then I decided to clear the cache and it started working, might work with 19 too! AT YOUR OWN RISK |
Hi, I've used autosubs before and it worked perfectly! (thanks to @tmoroney for this amazing project)
I recently upgraded to the DaVinci resolve - VERSION 19.0.2 BUILD 7. And the autosubs stopped working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still doesn't work. I'm not sure if its an issue only for me other do other people also face the same issue due to version changes.
more info: I've noticed that autosubs works until open ai generates the audio.srt file and the refining happens. I believe the problem is when autosubs is reading the file, but I'm not entirely sure. audo.srt file contains the transcription but the autosubs doesn't show anything and so doesn't the timeline.
Thanks!
