Description

I would like to request a feature for a "view-only mode" in the timvisee/send project. This mode would allow users to share files in such a way that the recipient can only view the document without the ability to download it. This feature would be particularly useful for scenarios where sensitive information needs to be shared securely without the risk of unauthorized downloads.

Use Case

As a property inventory clerk, I often need to verify tenant IDs. Currently, I receive photocopies of ID documents, which I then need to verify. A view-only mode would allow me to securely share these documents with the necessary parties without the risk of them being downloaded and misused.

• Add an option to set files as "view-only" when uploading.

How do you want to stop people saving an image that is available on a website? That's just impossible so this feature request doesn't make sense as send is a webapp.
