Some thoughts on what to cover in the loading data chapter from the Spring Seminar:
[1] I've been teaching R workshops for a couple years now, and I find the most challenging thing to new users (and in teaching R to beginners) is often identifying a simple way to load data into R. I've seen the working directory method, the project method, and the approach of opening R Studio by double-clicking a file in the directory you want to work from, but all of these still seem to be one of the biggest sources of confusion for new R learners.
