Problem

There is currently a lack of consensus with how testing should be carried out; as such we are finding that many different projects exhibit many different testing methodologies. This means that there is a longer-than-usual ramp-up period for a new developer to a given project as they adapt to whatever method that project is using.

Solution

We need to determine and document a standardized testing methodology to reduce this friction.
