Ensure that IDs are always treated as case-sensitive strings

It has occurred to me that the postgres UUID type may accept a variety of formats and case conventions, which get decoded to the same bytes. The guarantee that our GraphQL ID type makes is that it is an "opaque string". Therefore, it should not be possible to reference the same entity more than one way.
