Unlike English and other languages based on the Roman script, the Gurmukhi script doesn't have the ability to distinguish proper names by capitalising the first letter.
USFM 2.4 has a character level marker for proper names: \pn_...\pn*
USFM 3.0 extends the idea by having for geographic proper names: \png_...\png*
A long term goal of the project might be to mark all the proper names in the whole Punjabi Bible using these tags.
