How can i compute the x,y location of a label on edges ?

Hi Team !

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure how to compute the location of a label on an edge. I am assuming the svg renderer does it but i cant for the life of me figure it from the code.

I have an edge struct and cant figure how to compute the location of the label using this struct.

I am basically trying to find the x,y coordinate of the label circled below
