No search results when searching using multiple words (with spaces between)

I’m having an issue with trying to add products to a collection in IDM (the Bull Run stream restoration in eastern Oregon). Here’s a screenshot of the site viewer. I can’t find the collection when I search for it in the main screen… typing ‘Bull Run’ into the search bar shows nothing related to that site, even though you can see it is present..

Because of the space between words the search was looking for things that have "bull" OR "run" and the number of items returned are larger than the allowed number of results in the dropdown. We changed the "OR" clause to an "AND" so that it will use both words as a pair.
