Hey, I think a small close button could be helpful to hide the breaky element temporary until it shows up after page reload.
A certain url parameter to hide the breaky element would be probably even better, so it doesn't blow up the UI and can be hidden as long as you need it to stay hidden.

Do you imagine the URL parameter to simply be entered manually? If so, I think it might not be clear enough that it can be hidden that way. Perhaps a small x-button could be added that enters the URL parameter. What do you think?
