Our PacketMill paper is due to appear at ASPLOS'21 ! It is a set of compiler opitmization techniques that boost the performance of packet processing frameworks (it's generic, but we used FastClick as prototype) by up to 70%.
You can get a sneak peek in the packetmill branch. It will eventually get merged into FastClick, with a wrapper command to simply use packetmill instead of click and automatically recompile a tailored pipeline.
We'll try to use the new GitHub discussions to keep updates like this :)
