Hello,

I would like to use only free software with my students in a Belgian French speaking school in Bruxelles (https://robertcatteau.be) where I teach mathematics to the students in grade 11, 12 and 13 (yes, there is a 13th for those who have their diploma but want to get prepared to enter a faculty like applied engineering; they have 30 hours of math per week, homeworks, close follow-up as the other students in this high school, which probably used to be one of the best in Belgium)

So far, I tell them that for every problem (or nearly) they can get a fully detailled resolution (not only the solution, but the steps) in French, with the application photomath ... but this one is not free software. This is why I would very much like to replace it on a smartphone with sympy_gamma as soon as possible and get the same functionnalities as photomath (works on a smartphone from a picture that is recognized as a math expression that is thereafter solved with comments in French)

Gamma_sympy could give something very important that photomath and wolfram alpha do not give and will not : be able to export the full solution in a file that can be exported in latex or directly pdf.

I wand to help, with my students to obtain this. We could help with the translation of the comments. How could we do simply (my students do not yet know how to code, not git) and could help with a tool like weblate or similar.

It would be wonderful if the help and the whole interface would be available in French, but not only. If everything would be available in any language (provided there is help for the translation that could be as much as possible automated) it could be wonderful.

Much thanks for your attention,

Nicolas
