Unable Visualizing Data

Hello,

• Grafana 8.2.2 and the plugin are installed inside container following your example,
• Data Source is configured and test sucessfully passed (see attached screen shoot),
  
• I'm using mosquito broker configured to use websocket,
• Mqtt messages generated from Node Red, I can see posted messages using subscriber in Node Red Flow,
• I can see client (Node red and Grafana) connected to the Mosquito and I can see messages sent to both.
  At the End, no data are displayed inside my Time Series Panel. Panel is configured to use the same topic as NR of course, data is raw value in String UTF8, query inspector does display anything :

Hi @Vital91 thanks for raising this. I haven't had a chance to test with more recent versions of Grafana, and it's possible that something has changed.

I'm also aware that there is now an official MQTT plugin that's been developed and maintained by Grafana (it was announced shortly after I developed this one). Have you had a chance to give that one a shot?

May be I can test with the grafana version you have used for the dev ?
I will have a look on this official MQTT plugins but so far I found your project, the one you are mentioning and this one : https://github.com/grafana/mqtt-datasource/blob/main/README.md

Hi again, I have checked the grafana plugins, looks like it is not really finished yet, my main concerne is that it must be installed using yarn and I want to install it in Docker image excactly in the way you did it.

Do you remind the grafana version used for your Dev ?

Ok I see - that's true, I think the other one does need to be built from source currently.

If I'm not mistaken I previously tested with Grafana 8.1.0. You can also check your browser's JavaScript console log for any potential error messages.
