Tell us how to reproduce this issue.

  1. Import pdf

  4. Crash

Fix:

  1. use ctrl+shift+m
  2. Apply any template
  3. Extracts now work

I can make extracts without having to do anything special

  1. Moved to the appropriate repository.

  2. I can't reproduce this, are you sure this is due to the template ? I extract from template-less PDF elements all the time in my collection.

I think this is actually due to concepts. When I import something, if pdf is not assigned a concept, it won't make extracts without an error. Once I do assign it one, I have to restart. I'll show you sometime on vc that'll be easier
