Hello everyone,

I am trying to install Subgraph on a factory fresh Laptop.

I used Rufus to create a bootable USB drive with DD instead of ISO and the installation seemed to work without any issues. However, I can neither boot the system in Live version, default boot or failsafe boot.

On a default booting the system runs normally, until it loads GNOME. At his point, image below, the screen starts to flicker. The text on the screen flickers for about minutes.
Linux1

Sometimes this screen pops up after the screen flickered for some time. Other times it just flickers indefinitely.
Linux2

This is where the screen freezes on a bootup in the failsafe mode.
linux3

I am new to linux, so please forgive my perhaps amateurish question.
I haven't found any solution to this issue online, or in the Handbook and FAQ.
Is there a way to boot around GNOME, or to update it?

System specs:
HP 250 G6 Notebook
CPU: Intel Celeron N4000 @ 1.10GHZ
GPU: integrated
Memory: 8GB
Bios: F.42 (most recent)
