Hi, I just bought the this version and it's amazing! Just have a quick question though. Do you usually get the checkpoint after some completed missions? Currently I am not getting any so just checking if that is normal or is it maybe a issue with my version. Thank you!

Games are saved when:

  1. You have completed all a mission's objectives.
  2. Or, you are returning to a previously completed mission, and have opted to quit

What platform are you playing on? On Linux, the games should be saved to:

~/.local/share/blobwarsAttrition

on Windows, the games will save to a folder called "blobwarsAttrition" in the currently defined "users" path (according to USERPROFILE in Windows).

Are you not seeing any save games at all?

Ah, no. Unlike Metal Blob Solid, there are no mid-level checkpoints available. Someone could introduce them via a patch, though, since the game is open source.
