After you are admitted into the beta, your account is enabled to include the security group feature. To get started, order a virtual server instance and assign a security group. {:shortdesc}
- From your browser, open Customer Portal and log in to your account.
- Locate the Order section and click Devices.
- On the Devices page, click Hourly or Monthly for one of the Virtual Server offerings.
- On the Configure your Cloud Server order page, you must select either the DAL13 or LON04 data center to try security groups.
- Complete any other necessary information and click Add to Order. The Checkout page opens.
- Complete the Configure Security Groups information.
- You can select any of the predefined security groups to apply to the private or public interfaces on the virtual server.
- Finally, click Submit Order.
