Clean up How-To Guides post bounty #884

We've gotten many new How-To Guides during the Deep Dive Docs Bounty, which has made the section a little cluttered. Would love to:

Ensure language is consistent across guides (e.g., we've gotten many new guides around state archival, should make sure they all describe state archival consistently)
Ensure guides are categorized correctly (I've shoved a lot of things into Contract Conventions, should make sure this is where they belong)
Ensure guides link out to other relevant sections of the docs
Etc.
