how do I temporarily disable STExBar? I may want to test if it affects another program. So how do I "turn off" the toolbar?

in explorer go to the "View" ribbon tab, select the "options" button on the right and uncheck "StExBar", then maybe close and reopen the explorer window.

when I uncheck StExBar, do i have to restart explorer.exe to completely close StExBar ?

or just open a new explorer window?
