ios lets them walk off the edge, android wraps until it walks over the buttons below. neither is pretty.

Apparently it's quite buggy, and probably not worth working around at the
moment. At least the text doesn't cover buttons any more :)

nothing I do on ios changes the display behaviour. weird.
