How to set "Published" date to match local time?

This is a Wyam question. If this is not the place to ask, someone please point me to the right place.

Does anyone know how to set the correct "Published" datetime value for a blog post? So like when I put in 12/9/2020 for a blog post, it will be rendered as 12/09/2020 00:00:00 GMT, instead of the GMT equivalent of my local time.

I solved this issue by adding something like this to my config.wyam file:

Pipelines["BlogPosts"].Append(
  Meta(BlogKeys.Published, (doc, ctx) =>
  {   	
		string published = doc.Get<string>("Published");
		return DateTime.Parse(published).ToUniversalTime().ToString();
  }));
