Stash is an amazing piece of software and it has continued to amaze me the more i dive in it. Something that i feel like would just be a cherry on top would be this feature.
Let's say i have a tag and I marked it on a couple of scenes, some images, and lets say a few markers. Now all I want, and I feel like many people would concur, is to be able to go into a searchbar and type that tag in and EVERY place that tag is used appears.
Right now, you can search in scenes OR search in images OR search in markers. The last option is the Tags tab which i have to admit somewhat does what I'm envisioning, but it's all in different tabs of this tag in scenes, this tag in images and so on.
Why I feel like this deserves its own tab is that, let's say one scene has TagA and its marker has TagB and another scene has TagB and its marker has TagA. There's no way right now that I can just search TagA and TagB and both those files appear.
Before discovering stash, I had made my own desktop application in pyqt for this very use case with an sqlite backend and I don't think its that difficult of a task. Albeit, I have no knowledge of web dev or Go. And my application was nowhere near this complex for that matter 😅. Although it does have integrated models for face recognition and image captioning.
