StGit installable through Guix package manager

Folks might like to know that Guix recently accepted StGit 2.4.0 . If you haven't heard of Guix it's similar to Nix - providing a package manager, but also a Linux distribution. As Guix package manager can be used on top of any Linux it's easy to install StGit everywhere.

Roughly the steps are:

1. Install Guix

  $ cd /tmp
  $ wget https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/guix.git/plain/etc/guix-install.sh
  $ chmod +x guix-install.sh
  $ ./guix-install.sh

2. Install StGit

  $ guix package --install StGit

  $ guix package --list-installed 
   stgit           2.4.0                   out     /gnu/store/d4z1hpzwrcg1gm1vch23cs1h4b3x5zn1-stgit-2.4.0

  $ stg --version
  git version 2.41.0
