I would like to be able to use tabs and indent as in the spyder standard editor. It is useful when transferring pieces of code from a script in spyder editor to the notebooks.
Unfortunate, there is also no option to do Find and replace in the notebook, which could be a work-around, to fix the indentation before running.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Get a piece of code with tab as indents, and paste it into the notebook
Enter an indent in any cell
Error message will appear about tabs and spaces inconsistency
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to have an option to use tabs.
