- Sponsorship helps justify maintaining OSS projects vs working in private with less overhead
I'm trying to avoid having to make a trade-off between working on OSS and getting things done. I build OSS libraries when I identify gaps - those gaps appear in all projects, but they're usually filled by hacks and workarounds. I'm trying to build open-source libraries instead so the gaps are filled for everyone.
