I'm Jonathan —

Software engineer and graduate of Computer Science & Engineering working in automotive, vision and machine learning.

Despite the unforeseen financial burdens I currently face, I spend an unfathomable number of volunteer hours writing open-source code and making educational content for the community in the self-driving space. Everything I am learning I make accessible here on GitHub; with transparent, trustworthy and understandable material for the hobbyist community and broader automotive industry. While my own education has left me buried under a mountain of debt, I am hoping to provide my educational resources to others around the globe for free. This purpose alone hasn't helped me pay off the tens of thousands I owe, but I still believe my passion and work here will help advance the collective in the automotive industry and lead to safety improvements and overall harm reduction worldwide — I believe this mission itself is rewarding enough to continue pursuing even alone.
