I began programming as a hobby approximately 6 years ago while working as a pharmacist. Since that time I've worked in whatever spare time I had to improve my skills both as a software developer and devops engineer and have become passionate about software that improves the developer experience.
I began working in the open-source community approximately three years ago, contributing to and helping to maintain several projects within the fp-ts
ecosystem. However, for the past year or so my open-source work has revolved primarily around maintaining and expanding the projects within the Effect-TS ecosystem. I also maintain all of the infrastructure for the Effect organization.
I believe that Effect is the future of programming in TypeScript and thoroughly enjoy the community that has been built around the project. Any sponsorships I receive would help me to continue to grow the Effect ecosystem and the community that has formed around this amazing project.
