I was trying to bake textures from one mesh to another one and encounteded the error "Select atleast two mesh objects when in local view" even though I correctly selected two meshes in the outliner. After quite some trial and error I found out it was because I accidentally was in local view (Numpad /). Would it be possible to add a check for that and display a better message like
"It looks like you are in Local view. Exit local view to bake textures."
