Bug description

When using the Bone Group feature to add a skeleton, the bone group will be added but the batch edit function is not behaving as it should. When using batch edit to add an individual number to a large number of specimens in a group, only some of the specimens will be updated with the individual number. When the batch edit feature is used again, only one specimen will update with the new individual number. When attempting to add an individual number to one specimen in the bone group, it takes an extremely long time to update or the page needs to be refreshed multiple times. Overall, the updating times are extremely slow or fail to update.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a Skeleton Bone group with 200+ specimens
  2. Batch edit approximately 50-100 specimens and add an individual number
  3. Wait for batch edit update successful/ refresh page when no notification of update appears
  4. Observe that individual number was only added to some of the specimens in the batch edit
  5. Select specimens without an individual number to do a batch edit; observe only one specimen is updated (usually first one selected in the batch)
  6. Attempt to add individual number to bone group specimens one at a time. Observe long update times or "failed to update. too many attempts" error message
