Can't see any messages in app on Windows 11

I've just set up Ray on my Windows 11 PC and trying to send messages from a Laravel 10 project (with Filament) running on a virtual Ubuntu 22.04 server that is hosted on a KVM hypervisor.

• The PC, the virtual, and physical server are all on the same local network/subnet/VLAN.
• The Windows firewall allows connections for Ray on the local/private network.

Whatever I try in the Laravel app (calling ray("Hello world") from a Filament View page and from a tinker session), nothing shows up in the app.

Anyone have clues on how to troubleshoot this? I'm still on trial license but hesitant buying a license if I can't even get it work...

Okay, so when connecting to the server through ssh it does work. Why doesn't it work without that ssh connection?
