Grating Wheel Sensor Telemetry Monitor for NIRSpec #1365
Comments
Melanie Clarke are you working on this monitor? |
Comment by Melanie Clarke on JIRA: Rosa Diaz - no, this is the first I've heard of it. Can you tell me where the request came from? |
Melanie Clarke I am converting to Jira tickets all the monitors that appear in the JWQL Project overview as "nice to have" to "critical" the goal is for instrument teams to re-evaluate the need and also try to build a schedule for the work according to priorities. The overview table says that this monitor is "in development." That is why I am asking. |
Comment by Bryan Hilbert on JIRA: This work was started by Teagan and then dropped when she left the institute. That was a couple of years ago. PR 825 contains the in-progress code updates. I haven't looked at the code recently, so I'm not sure how much updating needs to be done now that we're in flight and have a populated engineering database. If NIRSpec is still interested in this but the code needs major updates, t may be possible to simply add the relevant mnemonics to the existing EDB monitor. |

Output: Telemetry values over time including the following:
