Drizzlepac v3.6.2 release candidate 0
High-level Summary
This Drizzlepac release includes updates to address HAP processing for WFPC2 data where the updates are either in improved code or modified configuration parameters. There has also been an improvement to the output Segmentation filter catalog products as the detection catalog, based upon the "total" image, is now used in the correct manner to define the source centroids and shape properties. These properties are used to perform aperture photometry on the filter images. Finally, the weights based upon RA and Dec errors in position which are used by the fitting routines in tweakwcs have been properly set to be proportional to 1/sigma**2. This should result in improved alignment of the HAP catalogs to the GAIA fields.
