To get the missing artwork I selected all albums and executed „Download Artwork.” Now all artwork has been deleted and no new artwork has been fetched.

Downloading artwork uses the last.fm api. If you compiled Sonora from source then you need to register for api access. See #48.

Maybe you could use some alternative API so it would work for everyone? See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7543574/is-there-any-free-unlimited-album-artwork-search-api-service.
