Hi, recently I tried to set SOFA on a new PC. I follow every instruction of the binary version of 24.06 (even for the environment variables). However, I encountered some bugs when opening the trunk.py, which might be related to splib3. I tried to search for such errors but I didn't find one.

Also, there is another problem like: "Python exception: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'useful'" when running the code from: https://github.com/SofaDefrost/Cosserat/blob/master/tutorial/tuto_scenes/tuto_5.py. This problem didn't happen on my previous PC, but it happened on my new PC with the Windows 10 system. I am not so sure that the "useful" package is related to the SoftRobot Plugin. @hugtalbot

I guess the errors come from the numpy reading as well

My Numpy version is 2.1.0, not sure whether this error is related to the version

Hello, guys, the problem is solved by reinstalling the numpy version from 2.1.0 to 1.26.4.

Hi ! Yes, this is a known issue on our side (sorry I was in vacation so I didn't see your post before...)

Another workaround to keep numpy 2.1 is to use a more recent version of pybind such as 2.12.3, and it should work.
