without a PAT we hit the rate limit a couple of times

.cool-prompt/log doesn't write anything or is being overwritten
user should be alerted when the status is stale because of ratelimiting so they can adjust the frequency or authenticate
- need to find the max number of requests allowed for authenticated and unauthenticated users and add it to help messages
