No joystick plug for joystick PTT

Hello,
I am trying to bind a button on one of my joysticks to use as a PTT button in discord. However, the snap does not have a plug for joystick which I assume is required in order for the Discord snap to access the joystick devices. I don't know if this is the only thing that's missing, or if Discord itself is lacking something that would prevent it from registering the joystick button event.
