What is missing to complete the first public release?
-----------------------------------------------------
MISSING CODE
+ Call check_version in static initializer (init_lib)
+ Set Locale-Code in static initializer (init_lib)
+ Implement destroy-Method and finalizer for GnuPGKey (release_ref...)
+ setter/getter for Ascii-Armor
+ Search for keys and return GnuPGKey-List (Array...?!)
- Read complete Key-Structure (all subkeys, all attributes)
- Password-Entry via Console (take it from henplus)
- Strip spaces from fingerprints
- complete signing code: add_signers to context
- change the access to global env using GetEnv()
- check for gpg-agent/pinentry and dont require Java-Listener
- make setField() a utils-function
[- Synchronize GnuPGContext and GnuPGData for multithreading (and calls to wait())]
Optional:
[- Make the lib completely stream-based (no large data alloc is required)]
PROBLEMS/BUGS
- Fix the problems with the passphrase callback (null-Value Passwords etc.)
- Fix all warnings (integer pointer ...)
- Read from InputStream to GnuPGData-Object
- Handle errors, if no key could be retrieved with given fingerprint
- ?
TESTING
+ Check for correct encoding (like special german characters)
+ Generate Test-Environment that can be distributed with the code
+ Write JUnit-Testcode for all existing methods
- Run tests with large data
[- Use a separate test key-ring (maybe from gpg)]
VERSION-REQUIREMENTS
- Use seek instead of rewind
- Check for required library
- Check for required jvm version
- Check for required os (must be linux)
SRC-DISTRIBUTION
+ Integrate ant/make compilation parts
- Add LGPL-License and LGPL headers to all files
- Write example code
- Ask, how to transfer license-responsibility to GNU
- Add this as a new SourceForge-Project
DOCUMENTATION
+ Write Javadoc-Comments
- Write Documentation
- Put Documentation as HTML and JavaDoc on SourceForge Project-Page
