I am currently using Quill for a project where the default behavior of the Enter key (which inserts a
element) does not align with my requirements. Instead of inserting a new paragraph (
), I would like the Enter key to insert a line break ( or \n).
Could you please provide guidance on how to configure this, or consider making this behavior configurable through an option or extension?
This feature would be extremely useful for cases where using single line breaks instead of paragraphs is preferred, such as in chat-like applications or custom forms.
Thank you for your time and support!
