I think Daemon must make a dummy check on the gRPC server before starting.
This step could avoid a bunch of services (7) that was flagged as Online in dApp but in fact they were not responding at all.

IMO the Daemon should not start if no gRPC server was found at "passthrough_endpoint": but a Warning also will be helpfull.
